Known to all Telugu film buffs, Nagarjuna will act in a Tamil movie titled ‘Mankatha’ directed by ‘Saroja’ fame Venkat Prabhu. The movie will also be made in Telugu but sources add that Nag will be the hero in the Telugu version.

‘Mankatha’ is the 50th movie for Tamil’s leading hero Ajith in which Nag is playing a crucial character. Sources add that director Venkat Prabhu is contemplating a dedicated Telugu version for the movie, where Nag and Ajith’s characters will be swapped. That means, the Telugu version will see Nag playing the role of the hero while Ajith will play Nag’s character of the Tamil version. This is something that has been tried in the recent ‘Villain’ with Vikram swapping Prithviraj’s role in Hindi ‘Raavan’.

As of now a teaser of ‘Mankatha’ has been made and it will be screened from come Friday. It would be interesting to see the teaser as director Venkat Prabhu says that it will arouse curiosity among the audience.
